Updates for Jan 2024

Like I’ve said in my previous Updates Blog Post, my intention for my blog is to provide information to you that is valuable.

Sometimes, that’s tutorials, tips/tricks, and anything else you may request to see that is too long for an Instagram post.
Other times, like this post, it’s used to keep you up-to-date on what’s going on so you’re always in the loop.

Here are the current things happening within my chair/social media/other:

Booking update:
Bookings will only be done through TEXT or APPLICATION moving forward. DMs get lost and then I feel awful when I don’t get the notification for your message on time. To keep booking as efficient and streamline as possible, I will only be receiving booking requests through text or application. If you have not received a text from me, please fill out the updated Appointment Request Form so we can stay connected. If you have my number, please be sure it is the number ending in 0816.

Also, I’ve updated my Appointment Request Form. It is shorter so it’s a little more user friendly when it comes to booking. I will ALWAYS look at NBR Applications & Appointment Request Forms before looking a text messages. If you need to streamline the back-and-forth of booking with me, I highly recommend filling out one of these forms. Like I said, I always look at these forms before I look at text messages.

This is also a great form to send to anyone you refer because it will help me track who you’ve referred. All of your referrals go towards your rewards. If you are unaware of my rewards program, please check out this link and ask for a card from me during your next appointment.

I look forward to making this process as easy as possible for you.

•Policies Update

Moving forward, I will be enforcing my Salon Policies. More specifically, my cancelationpolicy. I’ve always had them, and I hate being a policy police, but I have to enforce them moving forward into 2024. I understand that life happens so here is my booking policy moving forward:

Cancelation Policy

In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, 50% of all services cancelled fee applies and will be due before a new appointment is scheduled. If you are sick, your appointment will be scheduled without the cancelation fee (only able to use 2 times throughout the year)

In the case of missing your appointment, you will be imposed with a fee worth 50% of the total missed services. Moreover, booking your next visit will require paying a non-refundable retainer worth $50 before pre-booking. After 3 missed appointments, you will not be invited back to the salon.

After 3 cancellations, should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a flat fee of 100% of total services will be applied and you will no longer be invited to schedule future appointments.

Color Guests
If you didn’t receive the QR code for the “Ultimate At-Home Care Guide for longevity and health”, don’t worry! You can ask for one at your next appointment. It is a special platform just for my color guests on how to take care of your hair at home inbetween color appointments.

It’s currently in it’s infancy but the more questions you ask and the more content you share with me, the better it will become over time because it will be completely customized to YOU! (no more confusing answers from websearches anymore)

So, don’t hesitate to text me or comment in my blog of any questions you may have or styles you’d like to see me struggle though.

Important Information about Saturdays
To have a more work/life/behind-the-scenes balance, Saturdays will be VERY limited moving forward. I highly recommend prebooking during the days and times you prefer to be sure you can have an appointment that works within our schedules. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to text me. Saturdays can only be booked by in-salon appointment, not through text or DM.

Reviews
Speaking of feedback, I’d love to hear about your experiences with me at SAGE on Seventeenth!
You can either write a review for me on Yelp or through the NBR Directory (yes, IT’S SO OFFICIAL!). The point of reviews for me is to see how your experience is with me and to see more guests like you! I like you and want to see more guests like you.

•New year, new me!
It looks like this will be the year of more travel and activities!
The first stop? Is a secret so you’ll just have to find out through my stories.
Second stop?? Tennessee! I’m excited to see my best friend and brother a week in January. I haven’t been out there and can’t wait to see what’s in store. Plus, it’s going to be cold, which you’ve probably heard me say this but, I LOVE THE COLD!

I’m also taking updated education in the middle of January to continue to provide you with the best possible experience in my chair.

Stay tuned for all the fun on Instagram! And please be sure to schedule your appointments accordingly so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your hair done when you need it.

Thank you for reading through my Updates for Janurary! It’s not the most fun to read but it keeps you in the loop of what’s going on in my chair. I hope this helps you out and I can’t wait to see you all at your next visit!
